The anointing is under attack…and as a child of God this means me.
I’m in the midst of heavy spiritual warfare and the attacks intensified lately.. They’ve manifested in the flesh from the spirit of the Antichrist as follows:
1. A ravenous wolf posing as an angelic faced born again Christian who walks around town with his two forefingers pointing in the air proclaiming Jesus is the Way and in a flash becomes a foul mouthed, fire breathing dragon.
 2. A woman  possessed with a Jezebel Spirit who was a former Christian Church Choir Girl who is now working through her Ahab which unfortunately happens to be a friend of mine who had walked away from the Lord.
3. A pitiful man who claims to have been deeply rooted in the Baptist church and is now wandering around as a lost soul wallowing in self-pity and scorn and is more venomous and destructive than a King Cobra.
4. A self proclaiming disciple of the Lord who has two current wives, maintaining two families, and has gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core who is a destroyer and user and abuses all who come his way.
 5. A very angry, old man, a “Religious Man” who sits in the front row of church, who says he doesn’t believe in the Bible and all that nonsense, but won’t miss a Sunday morning service, who practically stalks me and when sees me around town will track me down and harass me. Who, when he speaks, I am deeply vexed.
6.. A former pastor who I once greatly admired for his faith, told me he had left the mission field to pursue secular interests.  He then pushed me to follow his new found faith.
7.  My son, a war veteran and graduate of theological seminary, living under false teachings and cult driven religious organizations lashes out at me like a wild man because I refuse to come under his religious authority, saying he’s doing it out of love.
This morning I stopped in my prayer time and got into why? I asked the Holy Spirit for revelation and discernment in handling these situations. The deeper I got into prayer and meditation and study, I found the source (Satan) is attacking the target (Jesus) who is the anointing (Christ). The anointing is Christ Jesus our Lord. Satan hates the anointing because the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage. Jesus came to set us free. -ISAIAH 10:27

Specifically, I believe the attack of #1 above represents how fierce the Antichrist will become when his true nature is revealed. At first he will appear as a savior to the world. A man of great wisdom and peace, who promotes “religion” to appease all faiths, but will soon change and become as a ravenous wolf. This is only a pretense of the unholy trinity.. Satan sets up his people to represent pious, holy, people who seek peace. But underneath are destroyers. The Antichrist will set up the False Prophet who will represent Jesus Christ and be under false anointing.

#2 represents how powerful the Devil is in using the soft, gentle weaker gender of a woman to do great harm and cause great devastation. Also…In the book of Revelation, “women” represent religious systems. The pure woman (clothed in white) is a symbol of the true church., and the adulterous woman (clothed in scarlet) symbolizes a false religion. Again, here I find that Satan uses “religion” to do his work and vex the saints. False religion fakes anointing with the aim of destroying the anointing.

#3 represents how the false churches, religion, lulls victims into feeding self-pity (religion of self )and abnormal care and preoccupation of the needs and demands of the church (false church) over a relationship with Christ. Anytime something attempts to come over or replace Christ it is of the spirit of the anti-christ…Hence, attacking the anointing. Anointing is the blessing, covering of the Holy Spirit over Jesus Christ and the saints. Anointing = POWER.. GOD POWER..(SEE NOTE BELOW ON ANOINTING)

#4 represents how Satan will use “the world” and the world’s systems to replace Christ. Again, anything that attempts to replace Christ with ‘another’ form or ‘way’ is against the anointing and is therefore anti-christ. Mcdonaldroad.org writes: ” Will we worship God as He has asked us, and remain loyal to the principles of His government? Or will we worship Him after the manner of our own choosing, (Cain) after the traditions of men, inspired by the rebel angel, Satan. “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world,, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8

#5 represents how religion is indeed evil and how Satan uses religion to do his work. This also represents how the false church, religion seeks out her prey, the dragon may appear passive as an old man walking down the street, but in reality has fire breathing in its belly and is most proactive and won’t pass up an opportunity to do mischief and unleash evil.

#6 simply represents how easy it is for the saints to lose their vision. How it is the device of Satan to attack the anointing with the purpose of  taking away our vision. When the saints lose their anointing through attacks, the first thing we loose is our vision. Study the life of Samson, Judges 16. The anointing is given to us on the mount of Transfiguration. It’s when we’re down in the demon filled shadow of death where we lose our vision if we don’t stay daily abiding in Him Jesus

.#7 represents how the spirit of the Antichrist attacks the anointing by attacking our heart. This is best accomplished by using those we’re closest to; i.e. family. Study the lives of David and Jesus. Those whom we hold most dear are those who can cause the most damage to our hearts. For out of our hearts are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23. The Devil’s fiery darts are aimed directly at our hearts.” Throughout the gospel accounts of Jesus Christ’s life and ministry, we continually see the hatred and animosity that the Jewish leaders had for Jesus. But why did they hate Jesus when they admitted that they knew he was sent from God? They hated him because he told them the truth about their religion, which was Judaism. Even though they professed to observe all of God’s law and did observe the Sabbath and the annual festivals, they had rejected God by teaching and living by their own rules and traditions instead of God’s laws.

Romans 8:16-18″The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

NOTE ON ANOINTING:  The word Christ is a Greek word. The word Christ isn’t Jesus’ last name. It is not a title. It’s a word with a very significant meaning. Christ actually means anointed. To anoint is to literally “to pour on, smear all over, or rub into.” So the Anointing of God is to have God poured on, smeared all over, and rubbed into. The Anointing of God is God on flesh doing only those things God can do. Practically speaking, what does that Anointing of God on flesh do for us?

According to Isaiah 10:27, it destroys the yoke of bondage. Some people say the anointing breaks the yoke. But the word used in Isaiah isn’t break, it is destroy. It literally means to obliterate so completely that there is no evidence the yoke ever existed. (for detailed information) . Now go to Ephesians 2:11-13, translating the word Christ: “Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh…were without [the Anointed One], being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in [the Anointed] Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of [the Anointed One]” There are some bible scholars who teach that Isaiah 10:27 does not refer to the anointing of Christ. So according to those scriptures, before you were born again, you were without the Anointed One. If you were without the Anointed One, you were also without the anointing, right? But now, you are in the Anointing of Jesus. That anointing is available to you in every situation to destroy (obliterate completely!) every yoke of bondage. This is why you can have hope in the most hopeless situation. You can break out of that hopeless situation if you’ll factor in the anointing. Take hold of that anointing by beginning to expect. Start expecting something good to happen to you. Lay hold of the hope that’s set before you in the promises of God. Think about and meditate on those promises.

Remember that Abraham was fully persuaded that what God has promised, he was able also to perform. (Romans 4:21He hoped against hope (Romans 4:18) God has made a covenant with us just as surely as He made it with Abraham. But instead of making it in blood of animals, He made it with the shed blood of His own Son – Jesus the Anointed One .So begin today, from now on be determined to expect God to keep His covenant promises to you. Fight for the expectancy in the Name of Jesus – the Anointed One.

You are familiar with the passage from Isaiah that Jesus read in the synagogue in Nazareth.  You find this event in Luke 4.

Luke 4:18-19 KJV

18     “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance  to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised;
19     To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” 

In these two verses, six things are mentioned as the result of the anointing of Christ.  Three of them have to do with breaking bondages.

  • Heal the brokenhearted

 

  • Proclaim freedom to the captives

 

  • Bring liberty to those who are oppressed.

Now we have been given the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  We can be agents of God to bring freedom and liberty to people.  1John 2:20 – “YOU have an unction from the Holy One.”  The Spirit of the Lord has anointed you to bring deliverance, release and freedom to those bound and held captive by the wiles of the devil. 1 John 2:27 KJV: But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you:

I’m understanding that Jude 1 compels me to say, “The Lord Rebuke Satan”. The Lord Rebuke you Satan and all your agents. Dear Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus I pray for and forgive those people who’ve fallen under the hand of Satan and are used. May their eyes be opened and may they  come to know you as their savior if they’re not saved. Dear Jesus may you abide in me and I in you always I pray and be under your anointing..
