“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
So shall it be at the end of the world [aion…age]: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth,” Matthew 13:47-50.
Due to my combining parables five and six into one Bible study, this seventh parable in this chapter is now set forth in Part Six.  Any reader who has not received the previous five parts in this series of studies on The Parables of the Kingdom of Heaven can receive them simply by sending me your request.
Now let’s turn attention to this seventh parable in Matthew 13,…..
The Parable of the Drag Net
Seven is the Bible number which signifies “completion; fulfillment; perfection; to fulfill, fill up, or complete.” Therefore this seventh parable in Matthew 13 brings to a conclusion The Kingdom of Heaven parables set forth in Matthew 13
Like the previous parables, this parable also contains symbols which sets forth great prophetic spiritual truths.…..
     The Symbols…..
The “net” in this parable is symbolic of the entire wicked world system deliberately designed by wicked world rulers to ensnare all of mankind upon the earth, and ultimately bring them under the control of a one-world New Order world government, 1 John 2:15-17.
The “sea” is symbolic of the masses of mankind upon the earth, Isaiah 57:20-21; Revelation 17:15.
The “kind” is symbolic of the two divisions of mankind; the wicked and the righteous caught in the “net” as this age comes to an end, 13:49.
The net being “full” is symbolic of “the fullness of the Gentiles” which will bring this present dispensation and world age to an end, Romans 11:25.
The “shore” in this parable is symbolic of the Millennial Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, which will be established in the earth following the end of the Tribulation Period, Matthew 25:31.
The “setting down” and “separating” of the two groups caught in the net is symbolic of a judgment taking place, Matthew 25:32.
The gathering of the “good into vessels” is symbolic of those true believers who come out of the Tribulation period receiving their glorified bodies, Revelation 20:4.
The “bad” is symbolic of the incorrigible unbelievers who come out of the Tribulation period.
The “furnace of fire” is symbolic of “the lake of fire and brimstone,” Revelation 20:15.
     The Exposition…..
The Net…..According to the “rightly divided” prophecies of God’s Word, what happens immediately following the Lord Jesus rapturing to Himself His “Pearl of Great Price” Church bride?  What happens?  The seven year Tribulation period begins bringing this present world age to an end, Revelation 4 – 19.
And what will happen during this prophesied seven year Tribulation period?  All of humanity left on the earth after the rapture of New Covenant believers will find themselves caught in “a net,” exactly as predicted in this parable given by the Lord Jesus Himself.
This parable of The Drag net is the third parable for which the Lord Jesus Christ Himself gave the “interpretation.”  Therefore, there can be no misunderstanding of this parable on the part of any reader who is willing to believe the actual and literal Words of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.  There is no room here,  nor any need for men’s opinions, theories, and interpretations.  PERIOD!
What is actually and literally happening today as I write?
As this world age draws toward a close “a net” is spreading over all of mankind upon the earth.  This net is not a new idea!  Wicked men have desired to ensnare and enslave all of humanity upon the earth for centuries, and thereby bring mankind into slavery to serve Satan in a one-world kingdom in which God, Christ, the Bible, and Christianity, will not to be welcome or tolerated.  This desire of the wicked was finally put into action in 1902, Psalm 2:1-3. Psalm 2 correlates with 1902.
This should come as no surprise to true Bible believing Christians, for “the net” which catches all of mankind left on the earth following the rapture is repeatedly mentioned in the Scriptures.  There are at least 30 references [or more] to “the net” in the Old Testament alone.  There are also many other Scriptures referring to a snare, a trap, a gin, a pit, etc., which sets forth the same truth.   By careful study of each of these Scriptures it becomes glaringly obvious that as the end of this age draws closer, wicked men have been laying “a net” to ensnare all humanity into their so-called “New World Order.”  This secretly planned New World Order will be a one-world kingdom ultimately ruled over by the anti-christ and his henchmen, enslaving all of mankind upon the earth. I suggest that our readers carefully study Ecclesiastes 9:12 and Habakkuk 1:13-17.
This “net” being spread over mankind today involves every aspect of man’s life on earth; politics, education, religion, medicine, the military, business, marriage, family, employment, etc.  And all of it is being watched over, directed, and promoted today by one final link in the world system; the COMPUTER
It ought to be glaringly obvious to our readers that such a “net” is already in existence, and is right now being utilized to enslave all of mankind.  Yes, I am referring to the world wide Internet system; the World Wide Web, made possible by the invention of the computer.  Since the computer was invented it has become possible to keep track of every human being living on this earth.  In fact there literally is a giant computer located in Brussels, Belgium which is capable of assigning a number to every human being living on the earth, and tracking their every movement from the cradle to the grave.  Even the workers who are in charge of this giant computer, laughingly refer to it as “the Beast.”  They are not far from wrong!  I want to share a truth that many of God’s people today are not aware of…..
There is a numerical system that has come to be called The Devil’s Alphabet.  This is due to this numerical system having been in use for centuries by those involved in demonism, witchcraft, astrology, voodoo, the occult, and other forms of Satanic worship.  This numerical system assigns the number “six” to any alphabet in any language in ascending order.  In other words, the letter “A” is assigned a numerical value of 6.  The letter “B” a numerical value of “12,” the letter “C” a value of “18,” etc.  Now look at the numerical value of the word,”computer,” using this numerical system.
     C   =   18, O = 90, M = 78, P = 96, U = 126, T = 120, E = 30, and R = 108.  Now add all of these numbers together and the total is 666.  Coincidence?  Not hardly!
Using this numerical system called The Devil’s Alphabet, the word computer has a numerical value of “Six hundred threescore and six; 666.  Any serious student of Bible prophecy knows that this number is assigned by God’s inspired Word as “the number of the beast,” Revelation 13:18.  Isn’t it wonderful that true believerscan temporarily use this infernal Satanic instrument to give the gospel of Christ to the lost and for the glory of God?   Praise the Lord!  Hurry!  Our use of it is limited!
Further, any serious student of Bible prophecy knows that numerous prophecies in God’s Word could not have been fulfilled until the invention of the computer.  One prophecy that most certainly could not have been fulfilled until the invention of the computer is the ability of the wicked to number and keep track of every living human being on earth, which is entirely possible today.  With modern computer technology, is it any wonder that the inspired Scripture predicts about the coming anti-christ, “Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee,” Ezekiel 28:3? By the use of a computer, the anti-christ and his crowd will be able to locate any human being on earth almost instantly.  Right now as I write there is a worldwide movement to make the computer even more effective by injecting an RFID chip into the body of every person on earth.  Hello!
But it is common knowledge that the main purpose served by the computer today is to regulate and control world commerce.  Instant exchanges of large amounts of money between businesses and nations are now possible, where such was not possible before the invention of the computer.  This provides the answer to how the anti-christ will be able to detect exactly who attempts to buy and sell after he imposes the “mark of the beast” upon mankind during the Tribulation, Revelation 13:16-17.   Indeed, wicked men working behind the scenes today in this “sea” of humanity have cast a net over mankind, yet the wicked are too dumb to realize that they are caught in the net themselves
The Judgment…..The Lord Jesus, in this parable, explicitly stated that there would be a dividing of the “the good” from “the bad,” Matthew 13:48.  This will occur after the net is “full” and drawn to “shore.”  It doesn’t require of lot of intelligence to understand that a judgment must occur in order to separate the “good” from “the bad.”  The prophecies clearly predict just such a judgment!
Following the Tribulation period, the Judgment of the Nations [Gentiles], as recorded in Matthew 25:31-46 will take place.  The “sheep” [the good] in this account are those surviving Gentiles who have believed on and received Christ as their Savior during the Tribulation period, and who prove their salvation by giving food and water and clothing to the Lord’s Jewish brethren, and visiting them in their imprisonment and affliction during the Tribulation, Matthew 25:34-40. Compare James 1:27.
On the other hand, the “goats” [the bad] in this account are those surviving Gentiles who refused to receive Christ as their Savior during the Tribulation, and who refused to lift a finger to help the Jewish brethren of the Lord in their Tribulation sufferings, Matthew 25:41-46.
Notice that the “good” are placed into “vessels.”  The word “vessels” is used in the New Testament when referring to the body of believers, both our present body and our future glorious body, Acts 9:15; Romans 9:21-23; 2 Corinthians 4:7; 5:1-5. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; 2 Timothy 2:20-21. We true New Covenant believers are explicitly promised to receive a “glorified body” like the glorious body of our Lord at the time of the resurrection and rapture of New Covenant believers, Philippians 3:20-21.  This same type of “glorified body” is exactly what these “good” will also receive when they are resurrected and  placed in “vessels,” following the Tribulation period. This truth is verified in Revelation 20:4.  Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!
On the other hand, the Lord explicitly stated that the “bad” [fish] are “cast away,” Matthew 13:48.  In other words, the “bad” are regarded as “worthless,” fit for nothing but to be cast into “the furnace” like a piece of trash, 13:50.  How very tragic!  What a waste of human life for a man or woman to live their entire life in selfishness and self-centeredness, and in pride and rebellion against God who gave them life, and then at the end of their life to finally awaken to the fact that their whole life counted for nothing; totally worthless and a waste to mankind and in the sight of God.  May our gracious Lord God extend His mercy to awaken some of these people living today to their true condition, before it is eternally too late!
The Lord explicitly stated that at the end of this age, the angels of God will “come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,” 13:49.  Have our readers ever wondered how this can be?  God alone is the ONE who looks on the human heart, 1 Samuel 16:7; Jeremiah 17:9-10.  So how would even the angels know how to determine who is “good” and who is “bad”?
This is where the sealing of the Holy Spirit, which even most believers today seldom think about and sort of take for granted, becomes of paramount importance.  When one receives Christ as their Savior, they are “sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:13-14.  See also 2 Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 4:30, and 2 Timothy 2:19.  This “seal” is not visibleto us believers in
our present fleshly bodies, but it is highly visible to the angelic hosts in the unseen spirit world.  Compare Ezekiel 9:1-11.  This is why Satan and his fallen angels and demonic hordes dare not touch a true believer without the express permission of the Lord God, Job 1:6-12.  The angels of God can most certainly see this “seal” upon the “good,” just as they can see that there is no seal upon the “bad.”  Further proof of this truth is found in Revelation 7:1-4 and 9:4.
The Results of the Judgment…..
Today there are many “false teachers” who are outright denying the Word of God and attempting to convince people that there is no place of eternal punishment.  Some of them have gone so far as to claim that if such a place actually exists, that in a few minutes or a short time the wicked who go there would simply burn up into ashes and go out of existence.  What a crock of unscripturalgarbage!
Wouldn’t the incorrigible wicked rejoice if they could convince themselves that they could live their entire lives in sin and rebellion against Almighty God who created them, and then when they die, blow the smoke of their wickedness in the face of God?   Folks, it just doesn’t work that way!
Genesis 1:26-27 plainly records that God created mankind upon the earth.  But let’s not forget Ecclesiastes 3:14, “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it, and God doeth it, that men should fear before Him.”  Folks, death is not the end of life.  Every human being is an eternal being, and when this present body dies, your eternal soul will go right on living…..somewhere!  The somewhere depends on whether or not you have received Christ Jesus as your Savior while in this present life, 2 Corinthians 5:1-8.
The Lord Jesus is quite explicit in this parable that “the bad” [Christ rejecting unbelievers] shall be “cast into the furnace of fire,” 13:50; Revelation 20:15.  This settles the question, whether some want to believe and receive this truth or not.  Yet, according to the inspired Scriptures, it is absolutely certain that those who die in their sin and rebellion, refusing to receive Christ as Savior, will spend eternity screaming out their damnation in “the lake of fire and brimstone,” John 3:36; Matthew 10:28; Revelation 14:9-11.
On the other hand, “the good” will live on in God’s eternal Kingdom forever, enjoying all the blessings that God has prepared for those who love Him, 1 Corinthians 2:9. To which of these two groups do our readers belong?
Once again, I appeal to every reader to “make your calling and election sure,” 2 Corinthians 13:5; 2 Peter 1:10.  The Lord Jesus does give assurance of forgiven sin and salvation to all who come to Him in truth, 1 John 5:13.  Don’t be left here on this earth when the rapture of New Covenant believers occurs.  Please, please, receive Christ as your own personal Savior today and meet me in Heaven.  May my gracious Lord grant every reader grace to believe and be saved is my prayer.
