Showing the signs that point to the end.

** Why Do the Nations Rage?
This is a Biblical prophecy being fulfilled.

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.” Psalm 2:1-3

Jesus prophesied that a sign of the last days would be wars and rumors of wars. We’ve become so accustomed to wars we no longer recognize them as signs of the end times.

Why do the nations rage? The passage in Psalm 2:1-3 clearly explains:

“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

The nations of the end times rage against presumed restraint. The people of the end times don’t want anything restraining their freedom of expression. The lure of a demonic dance with evil has glazed their minds into a destructive lifestyle. They blame the people of the covenant with their restrictive lifestyle for condemning their freedom to express themselves in basal behavior reserved for the lowest of animals.

The nations also rage for the spirit of rebellion that’s planted in them. It’s a witchcraft that expresses itself in angry, selfish rage targeting God and His people of the covenant both Christians and Jews. They are internally programmed by this rebellious spirit to viciously strike against anything that they believe inhibits their free expression. The Bible describes this end time behavior

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!
Woe to men mighty at drinking wine,
Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,
Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away justice from the righteous man!
Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble,
And the flame consumes the chaff,
So their root will be as rottenness,
And their blossom will ascend like dust;
Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts,
And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.  Isaiah 50:2-24

Despise for God and His word is on the rise, a rapid rise.

The nations also rage against Jerusalem.

The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. Zechariah 12:1-3

This little piece of real estate holds captive the fascination and imagination of the world’s nations. God promised it as much as He prophesied it. Jerusalem belongs to God, and the nations rage against it.

Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there… 2 Chronicles 6:6

Within Jerusalem is an even smaller piece of real estate where the question mark stands. The Temple Mount is the heart of God’s clock ticking away to the end of times. There’s a question mark for raging nations, and God holds the response.

The fulfillment of Biblical prophecy is right before our eyes as we witness nations raging. Ground zero is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and the struggle and rage for possession of that mount assures us we are living in the last days.
