Ezekiel 40:1….”In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was taken, on that same day the hand of the Lord was upon me and He brought me there.”
The term “Rosh HaShanah” in Hebrew simply reads “head of the year”……( ראש ה שנה )
………………………………………………………………………………………………..( year the head )
You will see in the Ezekiel 40:1 text above that God came to Ezekiel at the “head of the year” on the 10th day of the month. This is NOT the month of Tishri, nor the 10th day of Tishri, but rather this “head of year” in this text is in reference to the first month of the Spring calendar new year which begins on 1rst Nisan. God came to Ezekiel and gave him the vision of the “Millennial temple” in this text which will be built in the “Spring” when Christ returns to the earth at the END of the tribulation period. The date “Nisan 10” is therefore a very important date in Scripture, not only in the past, but also in the future.
