My dear sister in Christ shared an alarming video regarding Amir Tsarfati. I watched it several times and to my shock she had discovered an alarming comment made by Amir. Please read:
Beginning at time 2:55 Amir TSARFATI tells us that he opened an Israeli Newspaper and saw the word, “YESHUA” . He then says, “The name of Jesus in Hebrew, the proper name of Jesus, not the curse…” end quote…
What could he possibly mean by saying quote “not the curse”?
I believe Amir is most likely telling us that it is cursed to refer to Jesus “as the Christ”. What else could Amir be saying, other than the full name and title of Jesus Christ as used in scripture is cursed.
Yeshua by itself is only the name of Joshua, or Jesus. The name יֵשׁוּעַ “Yeshua” (transliterated in the English Old Testament as Jeshua) is a late form of the Biblical Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshua (Joshua)…
Without saying the Messiah, the anointed one as given in the title “Christ ” in English from the Greek word “Χριστός, cristos” or from the Hebrew word “hamashiah”.מָשִׁיחַ, meshiyach Jesus is rendered as only another man, a prophet or teacher that came and went. But certainly not as God incarnate to save mankind.
This is very alarming. Amir is implying that the full name and title of Jesus Christ is cursed. This is not only blasphemy but actually demonic. If Amir is not saying this, he needs to fully explain himself and certainly repent.
I also need for Amir to explain why later he would tell a group of young Christians that they should not call themselves “Christians”. NOTE: Christian means follower of Christ. Here’s the previous Blog on Amir:
The Religious leaders tried to throw Jesus off a cliff when Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1 in Luke 4:18. Why? Because Jesus identifies himself as “the anointed one “.
Why did Jesus Christ ask Peter, “But whom say ye that I am? And Peter responded, “Thou art THE CHRIST, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:15-17 KJV.
Throughout all the Epistles Paul continually describes Jesus as “Jesus Christ” to identify Jesus as the anointed one in opening each Epistle.
In Acts 9:5 when Jesus identifies himself to Paul, note that Paul used the following question: Who art thou, Lord? Although Paul had not yet known Jesus as the Messiah, he recognized that he was in fact speaking to a sovereign being, and being supernatural used the title Lord as in God almighty. Jesus responds as his name being Jesus to the title of Lord, not to the question, who are you? And in Acts 9:15 God tells Ananias that Paul is chosen by God to bear the name of Jesus Christ (the invisible image of the Godhead) before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. We know in the following verses that Paul clearly identifies Jesus as Jesus Christ as follows:
Read Acts 9:20-22 King James Version (KJV)
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
These words is why the Jews wanted to kill Paul. Not because he used the name Jesus as any other name including a prophet, etc, but because Paul clearly taught that Jesus is the Christ = The Messiah, The Anointed, The Savior…
Lastly John tells us that the anointing (Christ Jesus) is what teaches us and guides us. Also we are to test all Spirits and that anyone who does not fully describe and identify Jesus Christ as in scripture is an antichrist. Read it for yourself:
1 John 2:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him
1 John 4:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
He is insinuating there is only 1 proper name for Jesus and any other name, including Jesus is cursed. He is also insinuating that Christ is not a part of the name of Jesus that truly identifies who Jesus truly is. Look closely at the meaning of the word insinuate. “to bend in windings, to curve. To introduce tortuously, sinuously, indirectly or by devious methods; to introduce by imperceptible degrees or subtle means. Penetrate by subtle means. To draw, win, attract a person subtly or covertly to or unto something.” The serpent error twines round human hearts.. Craftily introduce by the subtlety of Satan. Page 1448 Oxford English Dictionary
